1. Let every lightning you have envied, flashing
Over the royal tent, truthfully proclaim its good tidings,

2. And visit Al-Maqam Al-Salihi, for everyone
On earth forgets it when it is remembered,

3. And do not make your goal the pursuit of wealth
Lest you infringe on the glory and pride of the holy place,

4. But rather ask it for loftiness and you will attain it,
For each person hopes according to their worth.
