1. When your worthy sons alight at an abode,
A smile of sagacity beams from its threshold.

2. Glory and loftiness pervade its quarters,
Generosity and nobility rain upon it.

3. Kings who excel through their pure lineage,
Their gatherings adorn it and their troops frequent it.

4. The lion wraps his flowing mane around it,
The tall mountain wraps its twisting slopes around it.

5. Every day and night he grants us favors
Without cause, his virtues and merits overflowing,

6. Rewarding our words though they barely express
Some of the praises that he deserves.

7. How much has Islam gained honor and guidance prevailed,
The pillar of religion strengthened and its burden borne!

8. His glory and majesty have come from you
As have his horseman on days of calamity and burden.
