Like the morning it brings light to the darkness.

4. If I say it has lifted sorrow,
Then say it has clothed me in honor.

5. You, Abdel Rahim, found the path
To glory, though the way was rough.

6. My request is simple though to your great spirit,
It may seem small and petty.

7. O fair of face, O pure of honor,
O highest of all in rank,

8. Your kindness has let me taste riches,
That poverty now seems sweet.
