1. She wanders lost in the desert's throat
And circles the valley's winding bend

Thinking her lost between plains and dunes

17. If it said to calamities, do not be
They would cease in stillness

18. And the closed universe would unravel
The knot of guarded pearl would untie

19. And its frozen eyelid would melt
O glory of the world and sword of the faith

20. Underestimating the weighty and solemn
In my standing, severity and softness

21. Had you not been the hidden pearl
Of experience, I'd not have locked my vows

22. To this precious essence, worthy of praise
Pour from praise what pours me out

23. Still in an incident that bares me
Standing in the breast of time, shielding me

24. A shining forehead and smooth brow
His left in generosity as his right

25. A chain of nobility and faith
Not a chain of clay like some men

26. I deemed touching the bent twig
So I said to hopes, you will not avail me

27. If I shook his hand with mine
When his bounty doubted my suspicions

28. He cast on it the snow of certainty
How much he protected the honored manners

29. Gives from what is not coveted
And how many debts he has with me
