1. O most generous of those present and absent,
And knight of procession and club,

2. And O white buzzing bee,
With determination and sharp conquering sword,

3. A letter has reached me from you, whose content
Was thanking me for kindness and making me happy,

4. You started with good deeds, so I rewarded them,
For the merit in charity is for the initiator,

5. So trust my affection, and know that I
Am on the lookout for anyone with ill intentions towards you,

6. And ask God, you will find, for the duration of the life of the victorious guide,
A bestower of bounty,
