1. The festival seasons have returned to you,
With the attainment of hopes and fulfillment of desires.

2. And the days have seen in you what they choose
Of glory until the day of return and reunion.

3. The Commander of the Faithful congratulates the times
Of their seasons for the meeting, the hunters.

4. You have composed on the neck of time jewels
Indeed, jewels are the adornment of the noble.

5. The feast is nothing but your glances looking
If not for you, the beds would not be adorned with perfume.

6. And you illuminate under the crown, your laughter that
Dispels the doubts of the hesitant and deterred.

7. And you visit your sacred council with delight
Nations that flock to its border and wander.

8. And you appear in the shade of the canopy, rising
Like the full moon or like the burning planet.

9. As if it is a sphere and your face is its sun
If not for its pillar's reliance on foundation.

10. The earth envied you and did not know
That the sky has protectors from envy.

11. The director spread over you a golden cloud
That has no decline or loss.

12. So the world is amazed, and there appeared
From under it the generous one, above the steed.

13. I said, when the canopy rises above one
Who ascends the abode of the unmatched stars,

14. It did not rise except in service and protection
And so are swords protected in the sheaths.

15. And the heart is most noble with the ribs protecting it
And the eye conceals its light with darkness.

16. When you emerged to the mosque wearing
The garb of humility and aura of lions.

17. The supremacy of the caliphate manifested in procession
Clothing the light of dawn in the garb of mourning.

18. Veiling its steeds in darkness as if it were
A secret concealed in a protected heart.

19. Surging like a wave but consecutive in waves and swells
Until you reached the field of assembly crowded with martyrs.

20. You faced the niche of prayer and for guidance
A spark on the cheeks of your face shone.

21. You performed the optional prostration and did not cease to be
For God, the best submissive worshipper.

22. You ascended the pulpit and maintained in
Its balconies an eminence over pillars.

23. And you spoke in the chapter of the sermon with a speech
With God's help for it from assistance.

24. The tears of people flowed when hearing it
And the livers cried out for help.

25. You mentioned the forgetful hearts, and only
Your guidance called the people of that club.

26. And you followed the way of those before
From the predecessors and ancestors.

27. And the law of your grandfather and his successor
Who prayed and sacrificed people of every land.

28. You hosted the pilgrim delegation as a hospitality
That you prepared for villages and provision.

29. So be safe and tell the guardians of Mecca and Medina
To sacrifice every dissenter and adversary.

30. And judge the injustice of time with justice
Who inherited the guarantorship from a negligent patron.

31. So seek victory from the Almighty with the victorious supporter
Who reformed the days after corruption.

32. A king who directs every downfall
With the issuance and revenue of helpers.

33. If not for his determination and resilience,
The powers of Islam would not be firm.

34. His enemies' arrogance subsided as he herded them
With strong resistance by the guide's hand.

35. When he surpassed the extent of the time which
Exhausted kings and snapped the bones.

36. His virtues said to his envious glory
Be easy on yourself for you are not of my enemies.

37. And look to yourself what befits its form
And know, if you oppose, how to oppose.

38. And restrain your hatred, for I fear
The cultivated snakes for you.

39. And be truthful, for the secrets of the truthful
Are not concealed from who hid embers under ash.

40. So if a companion fulfills for you and you betray him
Know that God is observant.

41. And beware the bites of wicked serpents
And the assaults of vicious lions.

42. For at the bottoms of plateaus is a lion cub
And at the meeting of knots, a snake and lizard.

43. The people of your dignity have denied the field of glory
Except to visitors and pursuers.

44. A people the world has chosen and found them
The most supportive kings and noblest people.

45. Their virtues have honored glory, it is as if
I recite the Quran by chanting it.

46. Who would refrain from hearing their virtues
From seeing them, my transmissions are reliable.

47. And Abu Al Shujaa’, if you want their praise
The poem’s house and arrows’ target.
