1. The sun of virtue, no sunset diminished you

6. And when he calls his brothers and those

7. They followed your path in life as if they were
An envoy to serve their Lord

8. Who died, O Saadi, and left the like of what
You left, congratulations to their like

9. And if the hearts are torn with grief over you
Blood pours while sobbing

10. It is proof of your beauty in the world
Eyes and hearts testified for you

11. O mother, no house pained you with illness
Except you found it while you were a doctor

12. How many adversities you relieved from a wretch
So he went repeating your praise, distressed

13. And advice you gave, so ordeals and tribulations
Rolled away because of it

14. And aid you gave under the shade
While time had misfortunes and wars

15. And an affliction you faced with enduring patience
That does not panic in recurring misfortunes

16. You attained the glory of the ascetics and tasted
The bitterness of tribulation that Job tasted

17. And you followed the noblest law for mothers
And lived without blame or rebuke

18. God guarantees what you sought of reward
And in the sky your wish fulfilled

19. O wise scholar, such is life, as you see
That life is a crucifixion

20. Do not cry for your mother, and cry for your nation
That almost melted on the embers of torment
