And the feast's carpet and plentiful gifts

4. Egypt has always known her sons
As the most generous hosts in Bashir's shade

5. Go easy blaming our neighbor
And accept from us, for the guest, the little we can offer

6. He who yesterday hosted Abraham
In his palace, today dwells in a grave

7. That former glory turned to humility and passed
Along with the fate of the Master of Fate
