1. The people of knowledge have fallen into a deep slumber
Unhearing of what the universe proclaims

2. But a crying voice, rising up
From the soul, knows its essence, O resolute one

3. It will awaken any of them who sleep
And make speak any of them who are silent

4. You who protect religion, your silence is the silence of one resigned
You slept with eyes and torrents raging

5. You were silent though you sensed a darkness, its omens
Signs of defiant blasphemy and warnings

6. Processions of atheism behind your silence
Clamoring, behold the sky is blemished

7. Awaken, the night of sleep has passed its vigor
And signs of dawn have appeared for the banners

8. Without the clamor of sinners, there is tranquility
It is death, from what sorrows have brought calamities

9. Traditions that revive adversities in the land
Leading the faith and the faith remains standing

10. Awaken and surge forth like a flood
Do not hold back, for death lies in cowardice

11. Behind the veil of silence, features grow
That mask the evil that cannot be resisted

12. A group has unsheathed in the scabbard of religion
Raising against Islam one who may attack

13. By truth, what are these shrines and their people
Except a factory in which insults are forged

14. May God shame those whom zeal does not fire
To protect their faith when faced with great perils
