١. قُل لِلطَبيبِ الَّذي تَعنو الجِراحُ لَهُ
ماذا اِعتَدَدتَ لِجُرحِ العاشِقِ العاني
2. His lancet was my love's hand, and the sore
My love's breath on my breast would fain assuage.
٢. قَد كانَ مِبضَعُهُ وَالجُرحُ يَرمُقُهُ
يُمنى الحَبيبِ تُواسي صَدرَ وَلهانِ
