May your Lord reward you well for those who love it

2. Dissension did not make you abandon supporting its state
And death has pains that afflict it

3. I have not forgotten your order to Al-Miqdad to convey it
To the community - a warning and notification

4. That if after three days its opinion remains diverse
Then unsheathe the sword and strike at its valleys

5. So I wonder at the strength of a soul that does not divert it
The bitterness of death from its goals

6. The chief of the people of consultation knew its place
So he lived as long as he built it and elevated it

7. And he did not impose an opinion in his rule
Indeed absolute rule corrupts its wielders

8. The opinion of the community does not cause misery
Despite differences - while individuals' opinions ruin it
