1. With the firm stride of the elegant ones, they have a guide,

18. So when I became destitute and my matter
Was straight, not bending with the changes,

19. On destitution in which I caused it to be destitute,
And I made the wilderness with it little,

20. Contemplate what you say, and I was formerly
A little contemplative, of the tribe of Qutam.

21. The land casts at them other mountains,
So they are withering away in it slowly.

22. We divide the land from us by descending,
And the land’s distance, descending divides it.

23. They did not find cushions other than land,
Their increase being a whip or club.
