1. The Prophet's son-in-law, whom Allah honored
When He chose him, and that kinship is stored up as treasure

2. So Abu Hasan took charge of the matter and piety
Therein lies excellence which has no limit

3. The spears cannot touch him if he decides to engage
He does not fear even if the foes are many

4. Whoever desires to challenge his might meets their death
Caution does not avert bereavement from his peers
