1. Behold, a light has dawned, bright, manifest,
A man has found refuge, blessed now with fortune,

2. In the dark alleys there appeared as though
The morning had cast its gleam upon the gloom.

3. O cursed bird of ill-omen, when he calls
It takes to flight, expelled, driven away.

4. The prize of bliss - when nothing can distract them -
They bow down prostrate, fervent in worship.

5. In him the religious find delight,
While the party of misery is deprived.

6. God established him, and he hopes
To gain the reward promised and assured.

7. His trade has prospered, he spends like water
To gain in the Abode of Bliss eternity,

8. For the like of this deed sincerity races ahead
And upon it the generous assembled pour out their bounty.

9. Accept him from his Maker, O Lord of Lords,
He who never disappoints the hopes of yearners-after.

10. Answer my prayer, as I have said in its date,
“May He reward the little one for his generosity.”
