1. O You who answers the supplication of the distressed,
Replace our hardship with ease, my God.

2. Praise be to Allah, the Responder to the supplicant,
And the Opener of doors for the knocking servant.

3. Glory be to the Most Merciful, the Compassionate,
Blessed is the Subtle One, the Beneficent.

4. Who is spared from the reach of His mercy?
And which creature has not received His favor?

5. He is the One who blessed us by sending the Beloved,
So what bliss for the repentant responder!

6. Make him a light by which darkness is dispelled,
And how much bounty we have through him, and how much!

7. We hope through him the erasure of abundant sins,
And the attainment of rectified hearts gone corrupt.

8. Blessings upon him from the Lord of lofty station,
None knows its meaning but Allah.

9. And his Family, Companions and all who
Have tread the path of faith in a good way.

10. The blessing of one devoted to knocking persistently,
And attained through his effort the hoped relief.

11. Then by that great glory and ability,
We ask for the recovery of our Shaykh al-Bashir.

12. We ask You, O God, to lift his harm,
And cure his illness and grant success in his matter,

13. And combine for him the recovery of body
And his attainment of good reward in the morrow.

14. O Savior from grief, He of the whale,
After He cured the possessed man.

15. And Hearer of supplication from Ayyub,
And Merciful to Ya'qub in Yusuf.

16. And Cooler of fire for Ibrahim,
And Granter of deliverance to the Friend.

17. And He who took His Master on the night journey,
To what those of high rank do not hope for.

18. Adorn him, O Lord, with the garb of wellness,
And bestow on him a wholesome grace.

19. And shake out his bedclothes through the hands of healing,
For the right of what is in Muslim and in al-Shifa.

20. O Lord, the bones have become frail,
And the illness has exhausted their strength.

21. And his face has been veiled from us,
So the world has become desolate for us.

22. You alone suffice for that, none but You,
So bestow on us bounty and favor!

23. O our Lord, O Allah, heal our mother,
His wife who was endowed with goodness and joy.

24. And grant her health from every harm and distress,
And relieve her of every constriction and affliction.

25. She obeyed the Merciful in her husband,
And agreed to His pleasure in his affairs.

26. So she came to wear the garments of contentment,
Floating, not like other women.

27. And grant, my God, after this, righteous progeny,
Good, pious, pleasing.

28. Inheriting knowledge and secrets from him,
And lofty wisdom and lights.

29. Following the ways of Sufism,
Drinking from its pure spring.

30. O Granter of John in old age and frailty,
And endower of the wife of the Friend with tidings.

31. And there is no wonder in the command of God,
For He is worthy to respond to hope.

32. I asked You, O Allah, by the Elect One,
And his Family and righteous Companions.

33. And the protected, that Imam Ibn Khallaf,
Who emulated the guidance of the ancestors in piety.

34. By what You endowed him with of knowledge,
And what You gave him of gifts.

35. And the son of the bride of secrets,
Of brilliant wisdoms and shining lights.

36. How his warnings awakened a heedless heart!
And how he healed one standing on the brink!

37. And the companion of Imam Malik, Ali
The son of Ziyad, of lofty stature.

38. And the authority of that hidden gem,
Aisha, the venerable, protected lady.

39. Of tremendous, powerful disposition,
And penetrating mystery and manifest light.

40. And the lion of the jungle, Mansur, came,
And all who attained of secrets beyond conception.

41. And the rest of the men of the city,
And all who lent him support.

42. And the saints of Allah in all places,
Those who came before or will come.

43. O Lord, we presented You the men,
So do not disappoint, my Master, the hopes.

44. And we called You in distress,
With heads and sights bowed down.

45. Seeking fulfillment of Your promised word,
And attaining His filtered drink.

46. Come to our aid, come to our aid! You are the Aider of the seeker of aid,
For we have none but You, O Lord, O Aider!

47. And forgive, my God, all that is past,
And favor all with the inhabitation of chambers.

48. And facilitate all purposes,
And make difficult ease for us swiftly!

49. And the composer Ibrahim
Seeks affectionately to be mentioned.

50. And kindness from the Shaykh of loyalty, al-Bashir,
And gathering in wakefulness with al-Bashir.

51. Blessings and peace be upon him from Allah,
Beyond what number can encompass.

52. And his noble Family and Companions,
And all considered among the loved ones.
