1. I repeat it radiantly, by the Lord of dawn
What it contained of joy and charm

2. It delighted every loving companion
And split the heart of an envious foe

3. When it irrigated the choicest composition
With the exquisite meaning and elegant structure

4. How it hunted every distracted soul
And restrained every devoted worshipper

5. It cracked open every tightly sealed treasure
And unlocked every hidden gem

6. For the melodious garden in its brilliance
Smiling with its fragrance

7. Its flowing spring gushes forth
Over pebbly brook of scattering pearls

8. Its morning breeze blew from the east
Bearing coolness for the eager lover

9. And its birds with disjointed twittering
Dispel sorrow from the heart like dusk

10. You tell it some of the beauty of lightning
Since it has no attachment or interest in that

11. Nor a veil, it is free of pretense
It came with all shining beauty

12. Its beholder says, burning with passion
As if it wasn't created from a clot

13. Glory to Him who created it from a clot
Without equal, it delighted the anxious

14. Of those with swaying posture and smooth skin
Quenching their thirst with a deep drink

15. Of the magic of its eyes and wine of speech
How not, when it came with a detachment

16. In praise of a master of great manners
So it ignited a fire in a passionate heart

17. And scattered genuine tears like pouring rain
It is but a paradise in exile

18. Bearing all good in abundance
Without it the royal crown is divided

19. And every pearl necklace on a smooth neck
And every acclaimed poet torn open

20. Has nothing left but degraded freedom
All praise to its Maker, the pioneer

21. Son of Tahami, the satisfied elect
Muhammad, that protective revered one

22. The unique weaving of absolute words
May his Lord grant him a rising station

23. And an inheritance and safety on the day of separation
For what he endured of adversity and fatigue

24. And what he sought of ladder and path
Until he came with praise of a tumultuous sea

25. For the honest and believed trustee
May Allah send blessings upon him eternally

26. Illuminating all horizons with light
And his family and companions, the pioneers

27. And every believer joined with them
