1. According to your worth that reached high esteem
And for long has the full moon yearned for your radiant face

2. Good fortune helped her and without it she wouldn’t have found
A sun that shines on the page of time

3. And that’s because truth’s success was eminent
And for religion a mending from its ruin

4. And for justice, prosperity, and for knowledge, authority
And for religious law, honor made easy from hardship

5. And for the plan, the auspicious caliphate of Ahmad
Proceeding with praise and pausing with gratitude

6. Is she not held fast to the sheikh, the imam’s strongholds
And his rugged fortress?

7. Did she not seek refuge from other than people in the sanctuary
Of Abu Hafs, the veiled one of might and pride?

8. To the most virtuous Umar in deeds and resolve
To the singular of the world, undisputed

9. Indeed, it is he the intrepid, the formidable one
By whom the incapacities of eras were turned back to the chest

10. His excellences in the throat of time are necklaces
His meanings are flowers on the cheeks of splendor

11. So no light but from the lamps of his knowledge
Nor brilliance but from his abundant clouds

12. The qualities of honorable, magnanimous fathers and brothers
So O pride compounded with more pride

13. Traits that glories chose as their abode
And so became pearls on its pearl-like face

14. Natures that in the dark nights were illuminated
By which the white nation was resplendent by his radiant name

15. Inherited from them, by a son from a father
From the blessed father and dutiful son

16. From the lofty faction and the nobility whose
Sweet scent of victory was inhaled by its fragrant blossoms

17. From the chosen Mustafa, most generous father
Endowed with that which in meaning was never conceived

18. And suffice it what of Qasim’s knowledge has spread
And the pride conferred and ocean unleashed

19. The glory prepared, guidance renewed
Goodness expanded, and remembrance bequeathed

20. So whoever doubts, this is Muhammad
To whose light the full moons wander when they rise

21. And his light shines in the face of religious law
And enriches the night’s darkness without the dawn’s emergence

22. And he wipes eyes that from injustice were wounded
And unveils a truth from the ignorance of its veil

23. Of his assets, if life were to take account
And attempted a tally of what little came

24. Your perfection, O object of praise and its purpose
And one whose description guides to poetry and prose

25. And one whom the Almighty blessed the ages all
With his auspicious plan openly and discretely

26. And one whom the Merciful spread of His mercy upon us
What did not exist before in proliferation

27. And one whose tokens of blessing shone white
And the dusty became clad in green

28. So lives prosper in your prosperous life
And life is gladdened beyond your bliss

29. And power and victory assist with every concern
And your command is heard and your might in victory
