١. أَلَم يَبلُغكَ أَنَّ الحَيَّ كَلباً
أَرادوا في عَطيَّتِكَ إِرتِدادا
2. And they said it is gold and paper
And you have given it much ignorance
٢. وَقالوا إِنَّها صُهبٌ وَوُرقٌ
وَقَد أَعطَيتَها دُهماً جِعادا
