1. The saints are a mercy for all creation
They answer those who call with pure intention

2. So Allah sends down His mercy through them
And admits the fearful one into His protection

3. The gloom and adversity are unveiled
Ease and prosperity flow forth

4. We swear by them this oath
That they are of six types in truth

5. A pole, pillars, and good people so fine
Substitutes, elect ones, and minions benign

6. The pole is help midst home imprisoned
All drink from him, a singular well provisioned

7. The pillars four on whom the earth relies
Feared no sins however multiplied in size

8. Seven are the chosen ones wandering about
Benefiting mankind as they roam throughout

9. The forty substitutes settled in Syria’s abode
A most protected and protected abode

10. The seventy elect ones, their number told
In Egypt, for people blessings they unfold

11. Five hundred are the minions with watchful eyes
For God in the West, timely to arise

12. The pole succeeds pillars, this is understood
As pillars succeeded well those who were good

13. Substitutes and elect ones and minions so able
Succeed them, responding to each summon and call
