1. We praise Allah, the Lord of the glorious throne
For His blessings and unique nobility

2. He is Al-Quri, the builder of glory and majesty
For Islam and the eminent nobility

3. With the victory of the believers, victory came to Him
And the mysteries of fate and good fortune

4. His miracles and extraordinary acts
Were prepared to bring benefit or repel the obstinate

5. As the brightness in the garden of his grandfather
From which the severely ill recover

6. In it is a snake that protected its corners
Without bringing the one of proven righteousness

7. With its fang, people are protected when
It is like medicine for useful purposes

8. And the story of Ishmael when he blocked
His tyranny, which of the shields?

9. And signs for a mother appeared to the pole
As clear as witnesses to the visionary

10. He saw a black camel rider upon whom
Was a garment, then a cloak with embroidery

11. As she warned him against the harms of Islam
When she raised to him one of the sand grouse

12. And the silencing of al-‘Arūsī when he dangled
Sins while ascending the climb

13. And the abundant gifts of al-Bāqūr to al-Kumlī
With established glory and generosity

14. That was when the sons of Khalīf attacked
And the wearers of turbans and heavy coats attacked

15. And how many miracles he showed us
Of sublime signs that silence all denial

16. I gathered my knowledge of them and my intention
Was to complete the adornment of this eulogy

17. Among them is the companionship of al-Khaḍir, whom
No pious ascetic accompanied

18. And his fasting eternally on foot in the
Summer heat, and freeing prisoners from bonds

19. And completing his integrity, justice
And equal treatment of distant and near kin

20. So the sons of Ham and Shem submitted to him
The people of their villages and noblemen

21. His sons built a lineage of strong, unassailable glory
And they spread every kingdom for the hunt

22. Men who fought lions, hand-to-hand
Without armor or iron blades

23. And their wounds bear witness to their boldness
Against the throats of lions in history

24. For the family of al-Quraysh there is glory in greatness
To which even the envious admit

25. The qualities of the eminent son of al-Quraysh struck
With his swords in the armies

26. The qualities of the eminent son of al-Quri are
Praise for his praisers and satisfying his delegations

27. The qualities of the eminent son of al-Quri have endowed
Every quality of a blissful man

28. By this, the orphans and widows testify
And you satisfy the bereaved women in the courts

29. And when the descent of a guest is announced
He prepares plentiful fresh butter and honey

30. Of milk, filtered honey, dates
And dried meat seasoned long ago

31. As al-Sāfūn hopes from him
And whoever desires his future generosity

32. And a newborn, no newborn is like him
Among people in open-handedness and munificence

33. The banner of pride among banners is a sphere
Beautiful in all its aspects, the brilliance of full moons

34. A wise friend of ours, honor him over
Any friend to the traveler and martyr

35. And Aḥmad attained truthfulness from his father
And from an uncle and established ancestor

36. And dexterity in all virtues among
His kin, and in the nobility of his forefathers

37. And restraining anger, hostility, and giving sincere advice
To the people of truth with sound opinion

38. And their love for the people of truth fulfils
What they gained from the love of loving friends

39. And impartial witness to them are gifts
And to enemies, drawn Indian swords

40. And their secret plans advance in every branch
From the sons of nobility and descendants

41. Their secrets by command or prohibition
To aid God, are declared with the exceptional

42. In goodness, sincerity increases
And O He Who requites evil threats

43. And their leader succeeds in every good
With outstretched hands of lasting generosity

44. The response to their followers' request is solution and
With their kind, gentle or customary possessions

45. So if you want something disliked
His actions will not please you, O my follower!

46. Their visitor attains the best of religion
And life, grinning cheek to cheek

47. I composed their traits, and pearls
Increase their elegance, strung together

48. So delight us with love of them, pouring upon us
The state of the guaranteed smiles

49. And reward them with forgiveness, mercy
Contentment and the eternal Gardens

50. By the status of our chosen Messenger, the highest
Our intercessor for slaves in need

51. Upon him, the prayers of my Lord and peace
Whose fragrance blows forever without end
