1. This Nile, I ask by Allah, tell me -
Is it by the generosity of clouds or my hands that it flows?

2. Both cast fish before being asked.
And the sea, after diving, gives fish.

3. What I hold is but a worldly paradise,
With it Allah makes the world laugh and weep.
