1. Did they not hear on the day of Ghadir his saying,
Appointing the best of people as a dry stick and a squeezer,

2. Saying, “This is verily my cousin and my inheritor,
And the first who prayed and the first who helped,”

3. “He is your master after me, so obey him and obey his master,
And be to his enemy an enemy, to the unbeliever a disbeliever.”
