1. Abu Hassan spent a night in great pain
In it he suffered from fever and agony

2. After the Prophet had prayed for him, he said
Rejoice, for you are cured of your illness and affliction

3. I have never asked for myself, even an ant's worth
Of knowledge, wisdom or understanding

4. Except I asked for you the likes of what I gained
That satisfied me from the One with blessings and generosity
