1. I called to those who dwell in the land of irrigation
Separation drew between us, would that there was no separation

2. I feared their suspicions against me though they did not know
That my inner self was imbued with those suspicions

3. I let my tears flow in grief over their ruins
Glory of the past had now become humiliated

4. So the valley of Al-Aqeeq and its bending route
Became my ribs, entrails and eyelids from me

5. The home is no more home nor the land my homeland
Neither dwelling nor people are dwellers after you

6. Oh clan, what a life that one time smiles
Then wipes the smile with separation at times

7. Be it generosity or miserliness,connection or separation
Peace or injustice, return or departure

8. Till it halted at Al-Uliya with a loud voice
Demolishing the pillars of God's house with strength

9. And separated the closely knit ties of its glory
Imprisoning the children of Adnan in humiliation

10. Oh you who mourn the disappearance of the sun whose orbit
God has changed, have mercy on it and on us

11. If you know who you are mourning you would not have sung
Songs of joy or kept silent in regret

12. You have mourned its fount of knowledge and its lofty peak
And its supreme status among all humanity

13. You mourned him, so the futile efforts mourned him
And the glory of majesty became humiliated

14. The calamity for which he cried in Isfahan
Spread the sermons all over Iran

15. It sparked flames and embers over Iraq
Enveloping the horizons with sorrows

16. Oh you who left the honored nation with grief
The hearts are wrapped in various colors of sadness

17. You used to wield God's supreme sharia as a sword
Defending it against accusations and slanders

18. The schools you revived, we now mourn its lessons
Neglected, while we and it are in mourning

19. A light you were from its enlightened way
Healing the darkness of ignorance within hearts

20. A nation whose honor you protected
Suffering despite guidance, humiliation and abandonment

21. An imamate whose guidance and glory you secured
Now weeping profusely over you in humiliation

22. Oh you who left but the glory remains
And you who rests while Islam remains awake

23. We greet you with complaints, if only
The complaint reached and enlivened you

24. Be glad today for you are among
The companions in the bliss of God

25. So the glory remains with the masters who wore
The crown of God's way with pride

26. Its guided leader, the lion of God whose efforts
Reached beyond imagination

27. A knowledge that shows you the unseen through its rays
And a soul and comfort through its traits

28. He did not gain glory in the market of virtue
Except by paying the highest prices

29. Patience, Abu Al-Qasim, most honorable and glorified
For patience brings the patient closer to pleasure

30. You wore every glory as your gown
And became the essence of glory as a human

31. You, people of pedigree and brilliant fame
Glory radiated from you as light and honour

32. If the sea of guidance diminishes through you
Guidance remains assured and abundant through you

33. Had the sun of guidance not risen through your learned one
It would not have lit up next to Sulayman

34. Succour of the terrified, rather rain of the arid
Covering brightness, elucidating and explaining

35. His eye is in the hand of the All-Knowing
As if the All-Knowing made it His treasure

36. When one recites the verses of his miracles
Gems by the intellect are proof enough

37. He grants gems though generous his gift
So his villages of gems are within us and recital

38. Moving between garments of honor
Woven from God's praise as shrouds

39. Wandering in gardens of his glories
A soul that made Al-Jawza its homeland

40. You served your Lord so you were employed
Among the exalted angels or houries and youths

41. Your grave continues to be clouded
With rain clouds of pleasure and forgiveness
