1. The sky wept and made the teeth of the earth laugh,
With tears it strung together into a necklace.

2. It's as if it were a torn cloak scattering its beads,
And as if the earth was fortunate to be scattered upon.

3. His hands were busy with its unique composition,
And his two sides made it a fruitful one.

4. He returned it more beautiful to the beholder,
And made it more wise for the nose that smells it.

5. So look how the beauties of spring adorned themselves,
If not for spring, they'd not have appeared to creation.
