1. Procrastination is the death of resolve, it has buried

3. None can escape an eternal death of weakness,

4. So strive, o monk, persevering in conduct
Before you one day reach the end of your life.

5. Seek perfection in whatever work you undertake,
For perfection is seen in the work of deeds.

6. And reject the cravings of a selfish soul within you
Whose pleasure is like poison in honey.

7. And incline towards every person who does not incline
Towards self-love, and accompany him without reserve.

8. And rely on Him when he loses guidance,
On Him who relies on no man in this world.
