١. أُنظُر إلى حُسن النُفُوسِ ولا تَكُن
مُغرىً بتنميق الجُسومِ وظَريفها
2. Do not belittle a free man for the coarseness of his clothes
For gems are not valued for their setting
٢. لا تَمتَهِن حُرّاً لرثَّة ثوبهِ
ان الجواهرَ لا تُعابُ لظَرفِها
