28. From it the nonsense of speech disappeared, and their mouths were muted
And Satan was disappointed into silence

29. The foundations of idols were undermined and collapsed
And every edifice yielded to the foundations

30. His call spread to all regions
East and west, from India to Andalusia

31. It shone and the darkness dissipated through God
And dawned like sulfur's glow with flint

32. As if the sun at dawn emerged
Removing from the universe its sullen creatures

33. The misguided became the worst uprooted
And the enlightened became the best planted

34. With his law the laws and religions melted away
And the sun erases the gloom of night

35. So honor the religion of a God above all institutions
Those stubborn in disbelief became deluded by its meanings

36. If not for the forebearers who verified his message
They were saved from the stumbling of doubt and guesswork

37. Perfect to raise the forefather of mankind, Adam
Who faltered by transferring steps to his miserable ancestor

38. And release the sinner imprisoned in a burrow
With abundant release of unconditional pardon

39. His licit is a honey of delight, so bestow
The sting of reproach from that misery

40. His death approached when it granted him
Protection from the protector of the wretched

41. He was a flag above the earth and a spear
And became beneath the soil from the banner of misery

42. He chose us though there is no good in us
Immersed in the darkness of sins, blemished

43. He uncovered for us the garb of burdens when He loved
To give hope to the despairing disappointed

44. His incarnation brought us the greatest favor
And it generally benefited every faulty person

45. He who consoles and who distresses His creatures
Though they do Him injustice, He does not cause injustice

46. So the Creator disciplined the reckless, fierce creation
Through refining the morals of an unruly creation

47. You have ignited the fire of guidance, oh companion, so live
Towards its lighthouse which rose, so kindle
