1. A king whose forehead bears the sun,
exalted in renown and dawn,
١. مَلكٌ كأنّ الشَمسَ فوقَ جبينهِ
مُتَهَلّلُ الأمساءِ والأصباحِ
2. approach his portal humbly, friend,
depart in joy when business done.
٢. فاذا نَزَلت ببابِهِ ورُواقِه
فانزل بسَعد وارتَحِل بنجَاحِ
