1. On the internet, he pasted a beetle
And said to them, "I am a poet"

2. So his wares became popular
With every read, he had a supporter

3. One would "like" him with praise
Another would eulogize this disseminator

4. Until he saw himself in poetry
As the rare, most precious soul

5. What is Al-Mutanabbi and Al-Buhturi
And Dunqul and Al-Mujtaba Shakir

6. And Shawqi and Nazik, but stars
While he is the orbiting planet

7. So he went to bed, profiting
From what he had reaped, while poetry lost

8. We see him die here and there
To his ignoble end, led by the corrupt

9. If a pretender tries poetry
There was neither poetry nor a poet

10. May Allah grant you, oh poet, a life
In which whatever you aspire is fulfilled

11. While your poetry is absent among its people
And the false claimant's nonsense is present

12. People listen if he speaks
While no listener or seer is there for you

13. So do not blame fate for its nature
When harsh, oh you patient one

14. Tomorrow, poetry will shine smiling
And the insipid fraud will perish
