1. Your enemy is destined for the vicissitudes of fate
And your affair is promised continuous victory

2. And your kingdom is lasting, having no term
Limited only by Resurrection Day

3. He has imposed upon every tyrant his just due
As if while alive he was already lost

As well as one not aided by divine support and guidance

7. His heart has not listened to advice nor his ear
How can the stubborn listen to advice?

8. Thamud and Aad perished in their misguidance
Neither did Salih's advice benefit, nor Hud's

9. The sword is more effective for him whom
Threats do not deter from deviation

10. It would have been better for him had he held back awhile
So his veins could be severed while in deep slumber

11. Does he not know the consequence of their enmity
Is each one severed by the blade of truth?

12. He has cast down weapons and fled seeking respite
Terrified at heart and extremely frightened

13. Never has he passed by a door he thought refuge
Except that he found it blocked

14. Granted life, is not death preferable
To a life accompanied by sorrow and fatigue?

15. Time has brought down calamity upon the Aghzaz
And its dark events have assiduously severed their unity

16. The swords of India vied with them over their souls
But censure did not avail them against calamity

17. Thus they lie dead on the ground, equal to him in number
If it be decreed that the ground be enumerated

18. They fled but no companion could avail his companion
Nor father hoping for his newborn son

19. A day deserving of great veneration
None can equal its beauty or match its Eid

20. By its virtue, days have envied it
For the noble prophet of lofty rank is envied

21. When the fierce lion guards its lair
No fox or wolf can hunt in it

22. You are Solomon in mighty rule, and in

23. Your presence has gladdened religion and world
How not, when you are praiseworthy to God?

24. My poetry flows in praise of your virtues, but falls short
Of reaching the least part of them, though striving

25. Whoever does not affirm as obligatory your obedience
Neither faith nor monotheism avails him

26. Your pleasure is religion and life, your justice
A shady shelter stretching over the days

27. May you remain life itself for humankind, and may
Victory, openings, empowerment and support endure for you
