1. A noble deed, too lofty to describe,
Through which existence gained perfection and sufficed.

2. A pledge by which God gave life to the world,
And protected the religion of the Chosen Prophet.

3. The hearts of people preceded their hands in pledging it,
And their time hoped to be helped by it.

4. All extended their hands earnestly,
Seeking to attain it, pleading and beseeching.

5. It united the integrity of Saladin and the world,
And through it the bond of the exalted became harmonious.

6. No pious, believing soul but was
Pleased by it, and moved to a noble resolve.

7. Each answered its call with a sincere heart,
Sanctifying its presence, aspiring and hopeful.

8. Its glories eclipsed the deeds of pre-Islamic poets,
And surpassed the tales of Qais and Khandafa.

9. Eulogies fall short, though the eloquent exhaust language,
Even if he strung the stars into letters.

10. You remain supported by the Most High,
And turn the times however you wish, O Turner of affairs!
