1. You support the world with simplicity,
And rely on your worshipped one,

2. Your ascent has prospered, though the bleary eyed are veiled from it,
The enemies are miserable even if they think,

3. With their shining, that they are fortunate,
And they return treachery with treachery, though

4. No breast yields to the one who wants to repel them,
They disbelieved when they became many,

5. And their wealth increased, and their number grew,
Blessings were given as blessings, but they transgressed,

6. And sought corruption, so the lion was unleashed upon them,
They were not deterred by the striking swords and the wailing,

7. The neck of the stubborn one is for it to tear,
A lion to which the lions submit,

8. As the cheetahs submit to it,
The fires of its rage blaze,

9. And for it the armor almost melts,
For it, from its resolve, is a number,

10. And for it, from its support, is a number,
It encounters the heroes and demolishes what

11. They constructed, and invalidates what they believed,
Blood pouring is a warding off, and a covering is scattering,

12. And prey being hunted, and spears being aimed,
The earthly one trusts that with its company

13. The heavenly will give it support,
The angels hoard while you, Abū Yaʿqūb, give generously what you find,

14. They make promises but do not fulfill what they promised, while you give generously without promising,
You brought your palm together with dew and flowers,

15. So one hand pours forth, and one hand gifts,
You purified life - no turbidity,

16. And established the religion - so no dissension,
If I said you are more respected than anyone,

17. With whom one contends with me,
You did not come with one similar to you,

18. And I neither bore him, nor gives birth,
No king’s insight about you was mistaken,

19. A king for the world to examine,
The lights of his insight,

20. And his virtues, are blazing torches,
The clothes of religion through him are renewed,

21. And the path of truth through him extended,
