1. May God grant you support and victory,
And happiness in youth and in breast.

2. You chose supporting the religion over
Good dwelling and sold sleep for wakefulness.

3. Victorious over the arrogant aggressor
Who on earth seeks refuge which can protect him.

4. Al-Jaziri strove in destroying his brains
Until he was embroiled without composure.

5. A fire from the blind strife that was extinguished
By Sa'd the Imam and the sharpness of his mention.

6. Iblis still continues kindling fires in countries
With the evils of creation throwing sparks.

7. The wretched increased over the bat his likeness
The weakness of insight when equaling him in sight.

8. He hurried his companions toward hell
Hastily, and joined them in haste.

9. Verily he who took whims as gods
Insisting on misguidance without deterring.

10. Advice among people is accepted and rejected
Like lines in water or carvings in stone.
