1. Fate obeyed you in the battles of enemies,
And did as you wished with them, leading and directing.

2. You sent armies ahead full of awe,
Who settled in every land, residing and encamping.

3. Your nobility, if you sought glory with it,
Would have a far destination as its goal.

4. You left remnants of the sword surrounding their siege,
Ashes which the storms scattered as motes.

5. Procrastination influenced their situation to decline,
And the expanse of space blinded them from proper guidance.

6. It is victory that eluded the one who prolonged contention,
And missed its goal, the one who prolonged the destination.

7. God ordained that the most fortunate of creation should attain it,
Thus it was the Prince of the Faithful, Muhammad.
