١. وَيَومٍ كَنارِ الشوقِ في قَلبِ عاشِقٍ
عَلى أَنَّهُ مِنها أَحَرُّ وَأَوقَدُ
2. I lingered with her by the ice-cold camp
Yet from her words I could find no warmth
٢. ظَلِلتُ بِها عِندَ المُبَرِّدِ قائِظاً
فَما زِلتُ مِن أَلفاظِهِ أَتَبَرَّدُ
