7. To the gate of meaning every seeker comes
Awaiting rain or watching anxiously

8. Ma'n bin Zaida, foremost of the tribe
Whose valor Bakr and Taghlib sing

9. Stepped forth peerless and unmatched
As the steed traces its pedigree

10. Ally of powerful feats that kill and achievements
That shower glory, inspiring awe and dread
