1. Like a spear carrier, another spear wielder,
He killed mankind, his teeth and his teeth,

2. I bid him farewell when we parted,
A sharp sword, his eyelids, his eyelids,

3. On a night that was prolonged as if
It was his sidelocks, his temple, or his departure,

4. Until the dawn cracks appeared as if
It was the face of the prince, his honor and his eyelids,

5. Muhammad revived benevolence and accepted it
His caretakers, his Ali, and his righteous ones,

6. A king who gives generously with his wealth and himself
And with that his fortress and his steed bear witness,

7. His beauty and charm surpassed people
His beauty does not fade, nor his favor,

8. With the righteous king, his rectitude is most strange
He did not abandon his lands, his homelands.
