١. مُذ رأًى النَّهْرُ بَرْقَهُ سَلَّ سَيْفاً
مُرْهَفَ الحَدِّ من قِرابِ السَّحابِ
2. The winds wove above it a coat of mail,
Thickly studded with hailstones.
٢. نَسجتْ فوقه الرِّياحُ دُرُعاً
سَابغاتٍ قد سُمِّرَتْ بالحَبَابِ
