1. I have come to you, my Master, seeking a visit
That will please despite the enemies' griefs,
١. أتَيْتُك يا مَوْلايَ أبْغِي زيارةً
تسُرُّ على رَغْمِ الأعادِي الأمانِيَا
2. So if today you are not of welcoming me,
Then my own will has permitted me to come to you
٢. فإن كنتَ لم تُصْبِحْ لِيَ اليومَ آذِناً
فقد أذِنَتْ لي هِمَّتِي بارْتِحالِيَا
