١. المَدُّ بعد الجَزْرِ قالوا إنه
يأْتِي من البدرِ المُنِيرِ الطَّالِعِ
2. They spoke true, for my moon's rising beauty
Has caused a tide of tears in my eyes tonight
٢. صَدَقُوا فبَدْرِي في مَطالِعِ حُسْنِهِ
