1. When his beauty mark appeared on his cheek
It melted the youngster's heart with love
١. لَمَّا بَدَا في صُدْغِه خَالُه
أذابَ قلبَ الصَّبِّ بالْحُبِّ
2. So look at love fallen into its trap
And do not ask about the bird of the heart
٢. فانْظُرْ إلى الْحَبِّ على فَخِّه
ولا تَسَلْ عن طائرِ القَلْبِ
