1. I saw the path of righteousness where my ambitions ignited
So it lit flames above my head
١. رأَى في طريقِ الرُّشْد شَبَّتْ بهامَتِي
فأوْقَد فوق الرأسِ منِّي مَشَاعِلاَ
2. It draws an opinion with every hair
That deters all who came near
٢. يخُطُّ به راءً لَدَى كلِّ شَعْرةٍ
تُنَفِّر عني كلَّ مَن كان وَاصِلاَ
