1. I was busy with him, and preoccupied every anxious mind
It flows through the subtleties of meanings

2. Melting for my eloquent poetry are crowds
And my rhetoric dazzles them in my expression

3. And the heart of whom I chose is a consoling brother
And I ignore whoever sees .. what I suffer

4. And if he had even some of my
Yearning to meet.. it would suffice me

5. But I have suffered from the love of an unfeeling one
May God afflict him.. for what he has afflicted me!
