1. The little that comes to you in leisure
Is much, so spare the soul from toil.
١. إِنَّ القَليلَ الَّذي يَأتيكَ في دَعَةٍ
هُوَ الكَثيرُ فَأَعفِ النَفسَ مِن تَعَبِ
2. There is no portion more abundant than one
That protects religion, honor, and nobility.
٢. لا قَسمَ أَوفَرُ مِن قَسَمٍ تَنالُ بِهِ
وِقايَةَ الدينِ وَالأَعراضِ وَالحَسَبِ
