1. The lovers departed from you at dusk
And set out at dawn with the pilgrims
١. بَكَرَ الأَحِبَّةُ عَنكَ بِالاِدلاجِ
وَغَدَوا بِها سَحَراً مَعَ الحُجّاجِ
2. They pitched tents of generosity around their tents
And draped themselves in brocade robes
٢. نَصَبوا خِيامَ البَذلِ حَولَ قِبابِهِم
وَتَسَتَّروا بِأَكِلَّةِ الديباجِ
