1. The harbinger of desires knocked on your door at nightfall
Do not show grief, for you have begun

2. To love the Prophet's family and his successor
A preoccupation beyond pleasures and songs

3. Indeed, singing the praises of Muhammad's family
Is purer and more beneficial for me than treasures

4. So fill the ode with them and empty into them
A heart crammed with passions and desires

5. And cut off attachment to those who want other than them
In loving them lies deliverance to the abode of salvation
