What remains of my life
١. تَصَدَّقتُ عَلى قَومي
بِما أَبقَيتُ مِن عُمري
2. I am the son of noble leaders
And the son of finecavalier
٢. أَنا اِبنُ السادَةِ القادَ
ةِ وَاِبنُ الغُرَرَِ الزُهرِ
3. We erected lofty pillars
With the broken Indian sword
٣. أَقَمنا أَوَدَ الأَعنا
قِ بِالهِندِيَّةِ البُترِ
4. And the free man has no escape
Like the sword and patience
٤. وَما لِلحُرِّ مَنجاةٌ
كَمِثلِ السَيفِ وَالصَبرِ
