1. And if you are absent from me and I find
No solace but memories of a heart and mouth

2. God is for me, then the noble Prophet
And the most generous son-in-law and cousin of his

3. Who will share out Hell, so this is for him
And this is for her in fairness of division

4. The pourer of delegations on the day of arrival
At Kauthar whose water has been made tasty

5. He defends his basin from its enemies
So how many accursed and repelled ones, and how many

6. Of breakers of oaths, and transgressors,
And rebels, and criminals

7. When Ahmad says "My companions, it is said
You do not know what they did to the communities"

8. So he prays for remoteness and abasement for them
And they are dragged along, with rending of garments
