1. Take me to you, O beauty of the full moon,
And unite me despite the distance of the shrine,
2. For I have been named after your face and the intimacy,
To wounds I grew weary dressing at dawn.
3. An imperfect chin and elongated nose,
And a forehead like a carpenter's plane,
4. My night with her is long, so I stay up calling,
O revenger of the illuminated day!
5. The stance of the meager starling and a palm
Whose wrists are like those of a coppersmith.
